In February I made a brief intermediate stop at my favorite sound recording spot in Germany,
on my way to an offshore trip.
I had expected lots of wintering nordic geese, Whooper Swans Cygnus cygnus and hoped for Bewick’s
Swans Cygnus bewickii which flight calls we desperately needed for our birds-in-flight ID guide.
Here only a few impressions of those days in the field.
